“Rich Pink Triangle” was inspired by triangle-shaped leaves.

  • Size is 6 inches wide x 5.5 inches long

  • Emblishments are (1) a small natural Garnet Bead in the crocheted button and (2) three natural bone-like beads of unknown natural origins.

  • Each of the three sides uses a different crochet stitch. Raised and lowered crochet stitches offer different feelings when touched.

  • Often, Dr. Jacquie is sitting outside on the patio of the Summerland Permaculture Project near Malacatos, Loja, Ecuador, South America, getting inspired by nature. In the radiant sunlight, she selects two or three colors of natural yarn to design and create an OTTA! She is an expert fiber artist and a professor of exceptional students. She uses natural TOUCH to ease stress from Pain, Depression, Isolation, Grief, Fear, and other physical or emotional challenges. Each is hand crocheted in Malabrigo Rios, a soft, strong, washable 100% Superwash Merino 4-ply wool yarn that was hand-dyed in Peru. It invites you to touch, smell, twist, stroke, or handle in various ways. OTTAs will entice you from a desk, a table, a nightstand, or even someone else's hand.
