I am a fiber artist. At age three, I began hand-stitching embroidery. I was five when I started hand sewing. At 12, I began knitting, making my own clothing from fabric or yarn. In my early 20s, I attended three colleges to study fine art, jewelry making, and art history. Soon, I fell in love with quilting and beading. After three surgeries on my right arm/wrist and one on my left wrist, I began crocheting. For over seven decades, I’ve explored the magic of working with natural fibers. Items are on sale for materials cost only, as I must resolve shipping from Ecuador, South America, to your home.

Overpayments will receive a letter for a U.S. tax deduction. Barter, time payments, & other purchase options may be available via contacting Summerland at sumerlandvolunteers@gmail.com

‍ ‍My natural fiber yarn was purchased from YarnLux ~ boutique de hilo, Cuenca, Ecuador. https://yarnluxboutique
