“ A Study in Blue” was inspired by various blue-sky colors.

• Often, Dr. Jacquie is sitting outside on the patio of the Summerland Permaculture Project near Malacatos, Loja, Ecuador, South America, getting inspired by nature. In the radiant sunlight, she selects two or three colors of natural yarn to design and create an OTTA! She is an expert fiber artist and a professor of exceptional students. She uses natural TOUCH to ease stress from Pain, Depression, Isolation, Grief, Fear, and other physical or emotional challenges. Each is hand crocheted in Malabrigo Rios, a soft, strong, washable 100% Superwash Merino 4-ply wool yarn that was hand-dyed in Peru. It invites you to touch, smell, twist, stroke, or handle in various ways. OTTAs will entice you from a desk, a table, a nightstand, or even someone else's hand.
